FSU alum Matilda Castren was named to the European team for the 2021 Solheim Cup being at The Inverness Club in Toledo, OH

Team USA holds a 10-6 advantage in Solheim Cup competition. Team Europe defeated Team USA 14 1/2 to 13 1/2 in 2019 at the Gleneagles Hotel in Berthshire, Scotland.

 

FSU Golf All-Americans Matilda Castren and Karen Stupples helped Team Europe win the Solheim Cup for the second consecutive time.

It was Castren’s win in her singles match that helped the European team retain the cup and defeat the United States by a 15-13 margin.
