Since its enactment in 1987, the FSU specialty license plate program has served as one of the avenues FSU alumni and friends give back.
With one of the top selling license plates in the state of Florida, FSU’s license plate program is a major benefactor of student scholarships. The program also supports the community by sponsoring events such as the university’s Flying High Circus and the Opening Nights Performing Arts series. More than $1.9 million in scholarships were awarded in 2018 as a result of Florida State license tag purchases - providing opportunities for deserving students from communities in Florida.
